You are Everything and Everything is You or: How to spend a Sunday afternoon?

Obviously there are many ways to spend a Sunday afternoon, and I have to say that one of my favorite things to do is definitely being out in nature (please consider the fact that I live in the center of crowded Amsterdam  :-)). To be surrounded by the energy of nature brings me back to the stillness within. At the same time experiencing a deep connection that would fit the description: you are everything and everything is you. Can there be a more holistic experience?

Lately I've been experiencing more and more often how impersonal everything is: my emotions, my conditioning, my beliefs, my experiences, my thoughts, my ideas and so on. As though there is more alignment in time and space in which events arise. My experiences and the people that surround me align more and more on my path of transformation. Almost every day I find that what I have considered to be personal for a long period of time, proofs to be  completely the opposite. The more people I meet along the way, the more synchronicity and synchrodestiny joins in. I realize this is a result of the choices I make, and it seems I'm making the right choices more and more often to fulfill my destiny.

Last Sunday afternoon I joined the very first Conversation Cafe that was organized in Amsterdam. Gathered was a small group of people eager to communicate and learn on a higher level then they would do on a day to day base. We experienced enlightend communication. Some of you who read this might say: what is enlightened communication? Personally this means that all participants respect each others views, do not enforce any judgements upon eachother, leave their ego at home and have their focus in the middle of the table. There at that zero point where only possibilities arise, the oneness can be felt. It is so heart- and soulwarming to notice that we are one! One that consists of many. It was thrilling to experience the interaction that brought such clarity into every ones mind. Sometimes some one would be stretched to step out of the known into the unknown. In that space where anything might occur out of the creation of not knowing. To drop any form of  fear for the unknown, but be in complete awe of the possibilities that arised by acting upon this. At the same time exchanging knowledge, views and experiences, a whole new world was created. Individuals creating a new and more concious collective culture. I think I can speak for all the participants that we all went home afterwoods feeling more whole, more enlightened, more powerful, and more valued.

Are we living at the dawn of a shift in culture into a more fulfilling awareness where every individual feels valued and acts upon their responsibility that develops from value?

Love or confusion?

This afternoon I was walking the streets of Amsterdam and I felt such joy.  It felt as though I could just lift off as there was no experience of gravity.  Then again I was walking firmly, ticking my high heels with some sense of rhythm into the blur of big city sounds. I experienced a healing kind of emptiness, away from thoughts and worries of the mind and at the same time there was full awareness. Out of this emerged this deep inner joy.

What happened? About 8 months ago I was involved in a conversation discussing the man / woman relationship. Being regarded as the most intelligent and highly developed species on this planet, we still seem to respond upon that millisecond input into our (ancient) part of the brain that wants us to ‘mate’. When a man and woman meet and they click, the outcome has to be ‘mating’. At least, for that millisecond that starts of this chain reaction of thoughts, chemical reactions and so on.  I was discussing with this (male) friend that we experienced this often as annoying, as we would find ourselves in the midst of developing a deeper human relationship with the other gender, the other person would make suggestive comments or moves to turn this ‘click’ into a different kind of relationship. We both agreed that there was so much more possible between human beings, and especially if we would be able to transform this sexual energy into a higher form of connecting.

Well, I know by now that when I make a statement like this, giving expression to what seems to be the dawn of new times (pioneering on our human paths of growth), the powers of the Universe will test me. And so it happened!

Into my life came this really challenging, very intelligent and handsome man. We connected on all levels as we are both passionate seekers of what is true. I failed the test and got involved into a romantic relationship. There were too many cosmic signs that we had to connect with each other. The Universe was truly conspiring to get us involved in this. Looking back now I have to think of the caterpillar story. Was it in fact the defense immune system fighting back at me? Not allowing a possible change in inter human relationships between men and women?

After a short period of time the relationship came to an end, as there was too much fire involved for any human being to handle. For the first time in my life I am facing the challenge to live by myself, not being involved in a romantic relationship. Something inside me needs to find out what is possible. I deeply experience now that I do not need a man/woman relationship to ‘complete’ me. Obviously I have read books and listened to ‘wise ‘people for years telling me so. It is a different experience all together to truly know. I was drinking a yogi thee the other day which was labeled with these wise words: “knowledge becomes wisdom when it becomes your own experience”. It sure does!

Just now I remembered a conversation with a friend the other evening about enlightenment. What really is enlightenment we asked ourselves.  There are many answers. Transforming our sexual energy, could this be part of the enlightenment of our species?

The other day I received an email from another Zaady saying: “it is all about me and my relationship to God or the divine”. Well, that much can be true, but I do believe that there is much more possible. So much potential lies in our relationships. I mean, what could happen, what would we be capable of if we are able to relate to each other on a deeper level of our divinity? I believe Zaadz is making these baby steps already towards the change, creating stepping stones as we are all connecting the dots.

Ego just loves to push that ‘snooze'-button, preferably again and again. Before you know it you might find yourself ‘snoozing' through life for years. Time just ticking away. I know I have done so for some period of time.  Accompanied by fellow snoozers, living daydreaming days in a daydream nation. Hibernation comes to mind. The stage before hibernation is one of over consumption, enabling the state of hibernation. Survival just taking on a different form. I would like to think that we did evolve from our survival mechanism. Nature, our nature, always gives a wake-up call. All we need to do is be willing to listen to it.

Acknowledging the fact that I have been snoozing, and the willingness to look into it, has opened up so many opportunities. Opportunities arising in freedom. Once I did truly wake up to the fact that I was in denial, I just couldn't push that ‘snooze'-button any longer. It is as if it doesn't exist anymore. Vanished before my eyes as I chose to shift my focus on a much larger perspective and all my action is to go with that flow that just wants to keep flowing. 

Sometimes that snooze-button does reappear. Although it likes to tempt me, I know now that if I would answer to it, I would only be fooling myself.  Can there be a bigger fool? :)

My deepest wish is to live in an enlightened culture. There is no mystery to enlightenment. Once we have acknowledged what we are, and no longer seek for who we are, we can truly begin to live and leave our pitiful struggles behind.

Just recently I awakened to the fact that I am trust. I do not need to seek elsewhere for it. Therefore I do not need to have trust in (what quite some people who called themselves enlightened told me to do in the past). Also, even better, I can never loose it! This was (is) quite a big and essential awakening for me.

Being what I am (trust) I started a conversation with some one who is following the course on Evolutionary Enlightenment at the EnlightenNext Centre based in Amsterdam. I followed that same course back in November 2006. We started talking and right from the start we both spoke with such openness that we were truly thrilled about what was happening. As individuals we shared some of our history, and then discovered that what we thought were quite heavy subjects to tell some one, became transparent and totally lost their meaning. (Tell some one about an extreme experience, some one you don't know (?), but hey....we are all one, and (!), it is not about the personal experience). Later on, when we started exchanging views in emails, we both realized that our past and our future are our own creations. Again I realized how important interaction is. Social structures are constructed by people in their interactions with each other and just imagine if we would have enlightenment as an everyday resource.........Just imagine that we would live in an enlightened culture...........I mean, just stop and think about that for a moment. What would it mean to live in such culture?
 
We need to practise deeper dimensions of our being to change our perspective into the biggest perspective possible, then start to live it as an individual, then share it with the people around us and before you know it, it has become the culture we live in!

The path to enlightenment is definitely not an easy one, but I'm willing to take that ride (I've already started and I can't go back!) and most importantly of all, I am willing to avoid nothing and face everything!
